Intimate Impressionism from the National Gallery of Art – Printable Series

Intimate Impressionism from @harmonyfinearts

We are planning on viewing the up-coming Intimate Impressionism exhibit at the Legion of Honor. This is an exhibit on loan from the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and it features approximately seventy pieces of art.

I am anxious to see this particular collection of art because it will showcase the personal experiences of the artists like their work places, their families, and self-portraits. See the list below for some of the artists to be enjoyed at this exhibit.

In preparation for our visit, I am going to closely study some of the contributing artists. I thought it might be fun to share some ideas and notebook pages with my blog readers so you can follow along if you wish.
Starting next week, I will post an entry about one of the featured artists along with a printable. I hope you enjoy this light and simple study of a few of the Impressionists that are a part of this exhibit.

Week 1: Edgar Degas

Week 2: Claude Monet

Week 3: Paul Gauguin

Week 4: Pierre August Renoir

Week 5: Berthe Morisot

Week 6: Camille Pissarro

Week 7: Alfred Sisley

Week 8: Paul Cezanne

Week 9: Edouard Manet

Week 10: Edouard Vuillard

I am hoping to stimulate my memory for each of this painters and then enjoy seeing some of their artwork in person later this spring. I know most of my readers will not be able to visit this particular exhibit but look in your local area for the opportunity to view some of the other works available for each of this artists.
