Sketch Tuesday – Summer Trees

Sketch Tuesday Drawing Assignments @harmonyfinearts small

Thank you to all of the families that participated in the Sketch Tuesday assignment this week. It was our first summer assignment and it was encouraging to see how many different art mediums were used in creating this week’s artwork. I really appreciate your effort and time! Please view the slideshow and then make some time to join us for this week’s theme of trees.

Hope you are having a great summer!

Current assignment: Sketch a tree. You can view the images below for some inspiration! Due Date: Monday, June 26, 2017.

Specific instructions for the Summer Plans of 2017: I will be listing a topic below but each week I will also be posting some inspirational paintings in the Sketch Tuesday post to help you get started. You are welcome to complete Sketch Tuesday like always with anything that comes to mind with the theme. Or, you can use one of the paintings as the inspiration, copying all or part of it as you wish.

Also, I want to encourage you to branch out in your art media since the summer season is perfect for trying new things! Pick something you want to experiment with and learn how to use the art supplies alongside your children.
