First and foremost, I want to let you know that the deadline for this coming week’s slideshow is going to need to be a day early. ALL submissions need to be in by Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 5 PM PST in order to make the slideshow. I have to unexpectedly be away from my computer on the previously noted deadline. I apologize in advance. This just means you need to sketch and send in your work ASAP.
Thank you to all of the participants this week and your lovely mountain artwork. I do so appreciate seeing all you have done!
Current assignment: Sketch some flowers. You can view the images below for some inspiration! Due Date: Sunday, July 9, 2017.
Here is this week’s slideshow: Sketch some mountains.
Note: You may need to click over and view the slideshow on the Flickr website in order to see all the sketches.
All sketchers are welcome and there is no need to sign up. Send in your sketches in jpg format and mail them to: firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday, July 9, 2017 and I will include them in Tuesday’s slideshow. Complete instructions are found by clicking the Sketch Tuesday tab at HarmonyFineArts.com.
Specific instructions for the Summer Plans of 2017: I will be listing a topic below but each week I will also be posting some inspirational paintings in the Sketch Tuesday post to help you get started. You are welcome to complete Sketch Tuesday like always with anything that comes to mind with the theme. Or, you can use one of the paintings as the inspiration, copying all or part of it as you wish.
Also, I want to encourage you to branch out in your art media since the summer season is perfect for trying new things! Pick something you want to experiment with and learn how to use the art supplies alongside your children.

Have you ever checked out NotebookingPages.com and their amazing library of printable notebook pages? Our family had a membership for many years and we actually used them just about every day, even during high school. I loved the flexibility to customize my sons’ learning by utilizing the huge variety of styles and subjects that fit their needs and interests. I invite you to click over and check out the products, sign up for a free membership, and then see how these pages work for your family. Please note I am an affiliate for NotebookingPages.com and I will receive a small commission if you do purchase any of their many products. You can read my review and see how we used these pages here: Notebook Pages in a Charlotte Mason Homeschool.
