Please read the end of this post for the summer plans for Sketch Tuesday. Join us when you can!
View: Jardin a Sainte-Adresse, 1867.
This week’s assignment is due Monday, August 5, 2019.
Find a view where you can draw and then paint a scene like the one you see in this painting. You will need a foreground, a middle ground, and a background. Don’t forget to make your horizon line first and then sketch in the other areas. You may copy this painting if you would rather do that instead.
All sketchers are welcome and there is no need to sign up. Send in your sketches in jpg format and mail them to: [email protected] by Monday, August 5, 2019 for sketches and I will include them in Tuesday’s slideshow. Complete instructions are found by clicking the Sketch Tuesday tab at the top of my blog.
Here is the slideshow from last week’s assignment: The Artist’s House at Argenteuil.
